OnAir Solution | USB HDTV-GT

After coming back from Hong Kong on Thursday, I picked up my latest toy Friday afternoon. AutumnWave had shipped me their OnAir GT, a portable USB over the air TV Tuner that allows you to watch HDTV programs on your PC.

You can purchase the OnAir GT for a retail price of $179.00, but at the end of my formal review I will attempt to have AutumnWave offer a 10% discount or more on any new purchases coming from my site. A number of features AutumnWave boasts with the OnAir GT includes watching HDTV on a full screen, record and playback your favourite shows, pause and resume digital TV, schedule to record shows, independence from satellite and internet connection, use of nVidia PureVideo decoder to enhance audio playback, no subscription, included remote control, USB powered, closed caption, LG Tuner technology, multiple inputs, included antenna but removable if you have your own and a 1 year warranty.

I’ve already started tinkering with the USB HDTV-GT and from my house, which does not have a clear view of the CN Tower, I was able to pick up 3 HD channels and a handful of regular analog channels.
